Working in collaborative groups between myself, a color + material designer and interior designers, 3M tasked us to re-imagine a post Covid-19 commercial space in the city of Detroit. Within the team, I became responsible for delivering trend insights, a color palette, and material tray that can conceptualize how the growing number of empty lots from demolishing unwanted homes can provide new and beneficial public space with respect to Detroit’s authenticity. Together, the team delivered the concept Oneness.
Oneness was awarded 3rd place out of 7 teams and was given the opportunity to present the concept to leaders at 3M including VP, Chief Brand and Design Officer Brian Rice and Head of Design, International Kevin Gilboe.
