For a sneaker design course, I had the opportunity to conceptualize my own footwear for a brand of choice. The process for me began with my intrigue in this growing market of “chillin’ kicks” as well as our developing interest in the outdoors and the materials that come along with it. I used these discoveries to design a shoe concept for Y-3 that explores the shape of comfort and adaptability between the indoors and outdoors.
